Long-standing data centre operation with resident engineer on site
For over ten years, CND has been involved in the operational running of the data centre infrastructure of VP Bank. As part of an onsite mandate, CND provides a resident system engineer who acts as the central point of contact for infrastructure and operational topics.
CND takes on the role of single point of contact for data centre operation as well as for hardware support and installations. In close collaboration with the bank's internal teams, requirements are captured, assessed and implemented.
A key part of the work lies in ongoing operation and the continuous optimisation of the infrastructure. This includes, among other things, the planning and implementation of rebuilds in the data centre, the integration of new systems as well as adjustments to existing platforms, frequently under productive conditions.
For this, CND brings not only technical know-how but also specialised equipment, for example for thermography, network and power measurements as well as airflow analyses. This allows even complex problems to be analysed thoroughly and solved sustainably.
Besides operational running, CND takes on tasks in the area of hardware support and asset management. This includes the inventory, installation and maintenance of systems as well as the management of spare parts and support with procurement processes.
The supported platforms include, among other things, enterprise storage systems, server infrastructures and central network components. Through the combination of technical depth and years of experience, CND is able to reliably operate and develop even complex system landscapes.
Over the years, a close collaboration has been established in which CND acts not only as a service provider but as an integral part of the operating organisation.
