CDR-Life is a biotech company based in Zurich that works on innovative therapies for the treatment of serious diseases. For its operational start, the company needed an IT infrastructure that is both flexible and reliable and meets the particular requirements of a research environment.

CND built the entire IT environment: network infrastructure, end devices, security solutions and connectivity. The goal was a stable foundation on which the employees can focus on their work.
A central requirement was the flexibility of working methods. The researchers should be able to work efficiently both at classic workplaces and mobile in the lab. CND developed a solution for this with various end devices that were individually tailored to the users' needs.
A combination of notebooks and mobile devices of various platforms was used. This made it possible to create a working environment that is both functional and user-friendly and takes into account different requirements within the team.
Besides equipping the workplaces, a stable network and security infrastructure was built. This included firewall, WLAN, switching as well as basic security and office solutions. In addition, CND took over the initial configuration, the patching of the systems as well as the structured setup of the entire environment.
The infrastructure could be put into operation quickly and operated stably. Even in ongoing operation, the solution proved to be reliable and flexible enough to meet the requirements of a growing company.
The services described here are part of our Managed IT Services for Healthcare and Pharma and show how modern workplace and infrastructure environments can be built efficiently and in a practical way.
CND builds IT environments with an eye on everyday work. For CDR-Life, this meant: a solution that works in everyday use and grows with the company.
„As a research start-up, we place great value on quality, flexibility and compliance with security standards. The solution from the CND team convinced us. Even a year after installation, our devices run smoothly and allow us to focus on research.“
