When clinical systems have to be available at all times
For several hospitals in Switzerland, CND operates and develops clinical platforms in the environment of MedFolio, PACS and hospital information systems (HIS). These systems are central to everyday clinical work and to the availability of medical information at all times.
In the area of MedFolio, CND was responsible for the operation and further development of the platforms across several locations. This included high-availability infrastructures, database and archive services as well as the integration of relevant interfaces. For Stadtspital Triemli, an independent emergency system was additionally built, including database replication, archive synchronisation and identical HL7 interfaces.
In the area of PACS, CND took over the technical operation of image archive and integration platforms. This included scalable operating models, structured release management as well as security measures to ensure stable and secure availability for radiological and clinical processes.
In addition, CND supported selected hospitals in the operation and integration of central HIS platforms into existing system landscapes.
The platforms ran stably and could be developed in a controlled way. Clinical information, documents and image data remained available and consistent at all times, even in special operating situations.
